Cleaning and maintenance

All of our furniture are finished with a plant-based, hardwax oil from Rubio Monocoat (unless otherwise noted or requested). It is a highly durable finish that is even used for flooring applications. It works by forming a molecular bond with the topmost fibers of the wood providing a great wear-, water- and heat resistance while keeping the natural look and feel of the wood.

There is no need of regular maintenance, but similar to any other finishes some level of wear and tear is to be expected over time. On an as needed basis, you can use any oil based wood care products such as Rubio's maintenance oil to keeps its shine alive and to get rid off smaller surface marks. If and when needed hardwood furniture can be refinished. 

When cleaning your furniture avoid using hard chemicals. The best is to stick to natural soap and water.
